Seed oil PC contains high levels of PC species with linoleic acid (Omega-6) at the SN-1 position. This type of PC is NOT found in human membranes – especially the brain. And since it is the lyso-PC containing the SN-1 fatty acid that enters the brain, seed oil PC puts extra metabolic demand on the brain to convert it. All of the PC species in egg yolk oil are naturally occurring in the human brain .
