What time of day is the best time to take Mood Support?
If the dose of Mood Support is one capsule (ages 6-8), its best taken with dinner or in the evening. If the dose of Mood Support is 2 capsules (ages 9+), it is best taken morning, and night, with food.
Is this product safe for children?
All of the ingredients in the Mood Support formulation have been studied (and shown to be safe) in children down to age 6, and most of the ingredients have demonstrated safety in even younger children. The dosing range on the label was chosen specifically to address this question.
Can I take this product with other psychiatric medications?
There is some concern that taking 5-HTP with an antidepressant (or SSRI medications) can increase serotonin too much, causing serotonin syndrome.
